9/25/2023 0 Comments Dunlop Fuzz Face Serial Numbers![]() ![]() The addition of a GRIT control allows a wide array of mid-60's vintage FuzzFace sounds. The sound is as warm and vintage as it gets. Mervin is a PNP Germanium fuzz, using a pair of custom matched NOS transistors. No silk screening, labeled with a white paint pen. ![]() Trim allows you to cut back the signal level at the input of the fuzz, just like turning down the volume knob on your guitar. This baby has four knobs: Vol, Grit, Fuzz, and Trim. Lou is a blue PNP Silicon/Germanium Hybrid, just like the default fuzz in Captain Coconut. instead of giving them serial numbers, I gave them names. The FuzzFoot is just a Fuzz Face with a couple tweaks, so you're basically getting a custom built Fuzz Face. In order to demo some of my FuzzFoot mods, I took the time to build up different versions of the FuzzFace using these castings. All of them were rejected for one reason or another, but most of them are near-perfect. I wound up with a few boxes of these castings, along with bottom plates.
